Blazers Make Qualifying Offer to Oden AKA Horse

Gregory Oden has played in parts of 82 games in 4 seasons and I’ve gotten word from my inside sources that say he’s likely to miss at LEAST the first half of next season as well. The guy’s body is finished. It would take a miracle for this guy to resemble anything close to an all-star caliber player going forward in my opinion and maybe he should just throw in the towel. Buuuuuut, if your getting an 8.8 million dollar qualifying offer to stay, I suppose it’s the correct move to at least pretend you are attempting a comeback of sorts. If I were Portland I would probably keep him unless some other team offered a ridiculous sum of money, that reason being they drafted him #1 overall of our very own Kevin Durant, and their is still some hope(though very slim hope) of him becoming a productive player. HERRRRE!!

We all remember the below photo, which he will no doubt be remembered for, if nothing else.
