Serge Ibaka had a career-high 10 blocks in the Oklahoma City Thunder’s 95-86 win over the Dallas Mavericks Wednesday night.
Ibaka came into the game averaging 2.4 blocks per game on the season.
Three times this season Ibaka has played 36 minutes or more in a game and each time it was against he Dallas Mavericks. He only averages around 24 minutes per game on the season but head coach Scott Brooks feels the need to play him heavy minutes vs. Dallas.
Ibaka played 40 minutes vs. the Mavs on Wednesday and was an integral part in the Thunder comeback as he obviously dominated the paint and helped limit Dirk Nowtizki to just 2-of-15 shooting in the game.
