Boston Celtics fan stabbed by Miami Heat fan after Game 6 of the ECF

A Miami Heat fan has been accused of stabbing a Boston Celtics fan following Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals in Boston.

Boston Police are searching for a Miami Heat fan accused of stabbing a Celtics fan after Thursday night’s game.

Witnesses say a group of Miami Heat and Celtics fans poured into an alleyway by the TD Garden and one of the Heat fans stabbed a Celtics fan with a switch blade-like knife.

Police arrived on scene and found the 22-year-old man with a stab wound on his right thigh. He was then rushed to the hospital.

This is the second time in these playoffs that there was an incident involving fans after a game. After Game 5 of the series between the Thunder and Lakers, there was a shooting in Oklahoma City causing the city to shutdown Thunder Alley.

The Heat and Celtics will play Game 7 tonight in Miami.
