Team USA blew out Nigeria 156-73 Thursday afternoon setting an Olympic Basketball record for points scored in a game. Carmelo Anthony has set a U.S. Olympic scoring record with 37 points, making 10-of-12 3-pointers.
Team USA has had plenty of highlights in the game most notably this dunk by Russell Westbrook on the fast break with the feed from Kevin Love.
Westbrook scored 21 points on 7-of-8 shooting in the game and there was a point in the third quarter where he looked like he wanted to catch Anthony in points.
Kevin Durant quietly scored all 14 of his points in the first half and made four threes. Kobe Bryant also was hot in the first half netting 16 points and a pair of threes.
Team USA finished the game going 29-of-46 from three in the game and shooting 71.1 percent from the field. Team USA had 38 assists in the game as well.
The United State will play Lithuania in their next game Saturday.
