The NBA released its jersey sales numbers today and LeBron James has the top selling jersey in the league this year, according to the Sun Sentinel.
LeBron only had the fourth highest selling jersey last year while Derrick Rose was number one. Rose has dropped to number five this year.
Kevin Durant checks in at number two behind LeBron moving all the way up from number eight a year ago. Kobe Bryant is fourth and Carmelo Anthony is fifth.
Russell Westbrook checks in at number 12 on the list while James Harden is absent from the top 15. That is likely to change for next year with Harden changing teams to the Houston Rockets.
In the last 10 years, Kobe has had the top selling jersey six times and LeBron has held the title three times.
The New York Knicks are the top selling team jersey. The Miami Heat are second followed by the Los Angeles Lakers, Chicago Bulls and Boston Celtics to round out the top five. The Oklahoma City Thunder come in sixth as a team.
The sales are based on numbers from NBA.com and the NBA Store in New York City from April 2012 up until November 2012.
