It was too easy once again for the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight despite playing the second game of a back-to-back and being on the road.
Russell Westbrook scored 18 points to go with 10 assists and five rebounds as the Thunder beat the New Orleans Hornets 100-79 Saturday night.
This was the second meeting of the year between these teams and both times the Thunder won the game without much trouble.
Kevin Durant led the Thunder with 20 points along with eight boards and three assists. Kevin Martin had 19 off the bench and Nick Collison scored 12.
The Thunder shot over 50 percent from the field while holding the Hornets to just 37.0 percent shooting. New Orleans was without Anthony Davis and looked lost trying to find any kind of offense.
Ryan Anderson was gunning for New Orleans and led the team with 21 points and 10 rebounds but he went 6-of-17 from the field and 3-for-11 from downtown.
Kendrick Perkins had another nice night for the Thunder scoring in double figures with 10 points to go with five boards.
The Thunder are now 14-4 on the year and will play their next game Tuesday night on the road against the Brooklyn Nets.
