Jeremy Lamb replaced on NBA D-League 2013 All-Star Game roster

Oklahoma City Thunder rookie guard Jeremy Lamb was set to play in the 2013 NBA D-League All-Star Game but now that won’t happen.

Lamb was recalled by the Thunder and is therefore ineligible for the game now because you have to be an active member on a D-League roster to participate in the game.

Lamb has been playing a lot for the Thunder D-League affiliate Tulsa 66ers this season. Lamb is averaging 21.1 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game for the 66ers in 14 games this year.

Lamb has only played in 16 games for the Thunder this season. He’s averaging 4.0 minutes and 1.7 points per in those games.

With the trade deadline coming up next Thursday and Lamb, the No. 12 overall pick from the 2013 NBA Draft, having played so little for the Thunder, there has been some thought that he might be dealt if the Thunder choose to make a move.

Lamb would have been the only Thunder player in this All-Star Game. Daniel Orton, DeAndre Liggins and Reggie Jackson have all spent some time playing with the 66ers this season.

The 6th annual D-League All-Star Game will tip-off at 3 p.m. EST time today and air nationally on NBATV.
