OKC Thunder (56-21) vs. Utah Jazz (41-37) Preview

The Oklahoma City Thunder will look to bounce back tonight as they hit the road to take on the Utah Jazz.

The Thunder lost their last game vs. the New York Knicks at home 125-120. Defense was nonexistent in that game so the Thunder should be eager to get back on the court tonight.

The Knicks also really hurt the Thunder on the offensive glass, something that the Jazz pride themselves on and will have to do as well to beat the Thunder tonight.

Utah is one of the toughest places to play in the league so the Thunder will have their work cut out for them tonight.

The Jazz have a lot to play for as they are just a half game ahead of the Los Angeles Lakers for the eighth seed in the Western Conference.

The Thunder are also in a race for a playoff seed as they currently sit one game behind the San Antonio Spurs for the top seed in the West.

This game could be a preview of the first round of the playoffs.

The other big thing at stake now is Kevin Durant winning the scoring title. After Sunday’s loss to the Knicks, Carmelo Anthony passed Durant as the leading scorer this season. Durant is currently averaging 28.35 points per game and Anthony 28.44.

The Thunder need to win four of their last five games to reach 60 wins on the season.

The game will tip at 9 p.m. EST.
