NBA Mock Draft Round-up: OKC Thunder linked to Steven Adams more than anyone else

The 2013 NBA Draft is now less than three weeks away.

The Oklahoma City Thunder will have the 12th and 29th overall picks in the first round. Many believe the Thunder will go with a big man with their first pick with the idea that they will need to replace Kendrick Perkins down the road.

Steven Adams of Pittsburgh has been linked to the Thunder more than any other big recently and he even worked out with the Thunder last week.

After that first pick, many believe the Thunder will draft someone they can stash overseas for a few years. That’s why we’re seeing below names like Giannis Antetokounmpo and Alex Abrines.

ESPN’s Chad Ford
12. Steven Adams, Pittsburgh
29. Giannis Antetokounmpo, Greece

Draft Express
12. Kelly Olynyk, Gonzaga
29. Giannis Antetokounmpo, Greece

12. Steven Adams, Pittsburgh
29. Nate Wolters, South Dakota State

12. Kelly Olynyk, Gonzaga
29. Alex Abrines, Spain

CBS Sports
12. C.J. McCollum, Lehigh; Gorgui Dieng, Louisville
29. Dennis Schroeder, Germany; Ricky Ledo, Providence

The only change here from last week is NBADraft.net of course who is always changing their mock drafts, especially in the later parts of it. They’re also the only site that has the Thunder picking a U.S. player with their second pick of the first round. There’s really not a lot to take away from that.
