The Oklahoma City Thunder will have three picks in the upcoming NBA Draft, which will take place June 27. The Thunder will have the 12th, 29th and 31st overall picks.
The Thunder have started working out players for the draft. Below is a list of who is known to be working out for the Thunder, via The Oklahoman:
Steve Adams, Pittsburgh
Vander Blue, Marquette
Robert Covington, Tennessee State
Gorgui Dieng, Louisville
Mouhammadou Jaiteh, France
Ray McCallum, Detroit
Kelly Olynyk, Gonzaga
Mason Plumlee, Duke
Adonis Thomas, Memphis
Janis Timma, Latvia
Cody Zeller, Indiana
These are all players the Thunder should have a chance to draft with their current picks. There is a chance that Adams or Zeller could be off the board by No. 12 but everyone else should be available at one point or another for the Thunder.
Adams has been gaining the most steam as a potential draft pick for the Thunder along with Olynyk, Zeller and Dieng.
We see a few international players on this list as well. Many people think the Thunder will once again go the international route with one of their picks and since they don’t exactly need to add three rookies to their roster.
