NBA Draft 2013: OKC Thunder select Alex Abrines with the 32nd overall pick

We had a feeling the Oklahoma City Thunder would go with an international prospect at some point in this draft and that’s just what they have done with the 32nd overall pick.

The Thunder took Alex Abrines, a 6-foot-5, 190 pound guard from Spain with the pick that originally belonged to the Charlotte Bobcats and the Thunder acquired via the James Harden trade.

Abrines is likely to be one of those players that gets stashed overseas for a year or two before coming over to the NBA.

The Thunder have drafted three players so far tonight in Steven Adams, Andre Roberson and now Abrines.
