NBA Mock Draft: Who the experts have the OKC Thunder drafting

As the 2013 NBA Draft draws near, let’s take a look at who the experts think the Oklahoma City Thunder are going to draft in the first round.

There have been a lot of rumors surround the Thunder the last few days, that they are interested in trading up for a player like Alex Len or Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.

Taking a look at these mock drafts will only help give us an idea of who the Thunder might draft if they don’t make any trades.

Chad Ford,
12. Steven Adams, Pittsburgh
29. Ricky Ledo, Providence

12. Kelly Olynyk, Gonzaga
29. Tony Mitchell, North Texas
12. C.J. McCollum, Lehigh
29. Rudy Gobert, France

29. Ricky Ledo, Providence

CBS Sports
12. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Georgia
29. Tim Hardaway, Jr., Michigan

Ford has had Adams in nearly every one of his mock drafts for the Thunder but this morning, had Michigan’s Trey Burke instead before changing it back this afternoon.

Ledo from Providence is a popular Thunder pick in these mocks with the later first rounder. Gobert is projected to be picked in both spots by the Thunder which goes to show how little we really know.

I think that most likely the Thunder will make some sort of trade tonight so that they end up drafting one and maybe too players, if that. They don’t want three rookies and only will draft one that they really like. Otherwise, they will just try and get out of this draft and get some picks in the future.
