Kevin Durant flirted with a triple-double, scoring 21 points to go with 12 assists and eight rebounds as the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Philadelphia 76ers 103-99 in a preseason game played in Manchester today.
Reggie Jackson led the Thunder in scoring with 29 points on 10-of-17 shooting from the field and 8-of-8 shooting from the free throw line. Jackson also dished out eight assists and grabbed six rebounds.
The Thunder trailed at halftime but then had a big third quarter to regain the lead and run away with the game.
The outcome was not as noteworthy as how the players looked in the game.
Jeremy Lamb and Steven Adams started in place of Thabo Sefolosha and Kendrick Perkins.
Lamb finished with just seven points while shooting 2-of-12 from the field and 0-for-8 from downtown.
Adams played 17 minutes and scored six points.
Serge Ibaka was the third Thunder player in double-digits as he went for 18 points and 11 rebounds while also blocking three shots.
This was the second preseason game for the Thunder so far. OKC beat Fenerbahce Ulker in Turkey on Saturday.
The Thunder will play their first home preseason game in a week vs. the Denver Nuggets for their next game.
