As the Thunder looked for their 18th win of the season Friday night, the Los Angeles Lakers and Kobe Bryant wouldn’t put up much of a fight.
An early lead quickly disappeared for the Lakers as the Thunder improved to 18-4 on the season with a 122-97 victory.
Kevin Durant set the pace for OKC shooting 10-for-13 from the field while notching 31 points, eight rebounds and five assists.
Russell Westbrook killed LA with his passing totaling 12 assists to go along with 19 points and eight boards.
Reggie Jackson and Jeremy Lamb were solid once again off the bench combining for 30 points.
Kobe Bryant had just four points in the game as he started at point guard for the depleted Lakers. Kobe also totaled 13 assists.
The Lakers were simply no match for a Thunder team that has been clicking on all cylinders of late. Once the Thunder took the lead, their depth allowed them to coast to a victory.
Next up for the Thunder will be Orlando at home Sunday night.
