Serge Ibaka to return to lineup tonight for OKC Thunder vs. Denver Nuggets

The Thunder lost their last game Tuesday night on the road to the Utah Jazz 112-101 and a big part of not being able to come through was the absence of Serge Ibaka.

Ibaka missed the game with flu-like symptoms but will be back in the lineup tonight.

Thabo Sefolosha was injured during the Jazz game as well but will also be back in the lineup.

Serge Ibaka will rejoin the lineup tonight at Denver after missing the game at Utah with flu-like symptoms. Thabo Sefolosha also will play.

The Thunder really need to be as healthy as possible with Westbrook out. We saw how much worse they looked against a bad Utah team.

The Nuggets are just 17-17 on the season but they’ve won their last three games, albeit against some poor teams. It’s also always very tough playing on the road in Denver.

But the Thunder are one of the best teams in the NBA at bouncing back, even without Westbrook.

They may have their hands full but it will be a little less so with Ibaka and Thabo back in the lineup. Kevin Durant shouldn’t need to score 48 points for the Thunder to win.

The game will tip off at 9:30 p.m. CST on TNT.
