The biggest move of the trade deadline came when the Indiana Pacers sent Danny Granger to the Philadelphia 76ers for Evan Turner and Lavoy Allen.
The Pacers have the best record in the Eastern Conference and were looking to unload Granger’s contract. Tuner may very well be an upgrade for Indy, but what’s going to happen to Granger?
Apparently, the Thunder may be on Granger’s radar.
But Granger clearly does not want to be in Philly and is expected to push for his release to try to work his way to Miami, OKC, SA, etc.

The Thunder are $2.3 million under the luxury tax and they definitely won’t want to enter the tax this season. So signing Granger after his release would have to be at a very cheap price.
If Granger wants to win a title, OKC is definitely on the short list of teams to play for.
I could see Granger getting some playing time for the Thunder, although he is not nearly the player he used to be. He’d be another body to throw on LeBron and he should be able to knock down some open three-pointers.
There is still a lot that needs to happen before this could be a possibility for the Thunder. They do have a roster spot and some cap and if Granger wants, it could be a good fit.
