Russell Westbrook injury update: Not expected to miss any extra time

The Thunder faithful were forced to hold their collective breath last night when OKC played on the road vs. the Toronto Raptors.

Russell Westbrook had Kyle Lowry collided into his right knee, which then awkwardly bent inward forcing Westbrook to limp off and miss the rest of the game.

After the game, Westbrook was not limping or on crutches. An MRI today has revealed that there was no further damage done to Westbrook’s medically repaired right knee.

Westbrook continues to be on a minutes restriction and the team will likely continue to keep him from playing back-to-backs.

The Thunder will play Denver at home on Monday and then play Dallas on Tuesday. Westbrook will likely play in one of those games but not the other.
