Thunder thoughts from around the web

The Oklahoma City Thunder haven’t taken to the court in a couple of days since they took care of the Sacramento Kings and the Utah Jazz, but they haven’t been far from the media. A couple of huge games are coming up for the Thunder against conference rivals. On April 3 they take on the San Antonio Spurs and the following night they tackle the Houston Rockets. Both will be tough games against tough competition and will be a real test for OKC.

Have the Thunder fallen in the eyes of analysts and are the San Antonio Spurs the favorites to emerge from the Western Conference and back to the NBA Finals? Are they the pick of the bunch to win the whole thing? (NewsOK.com)

Veteran guard Derek Fisher has already stated that this season will be his last, but what does the future hold for him? There is no denying he has tremendous respect around the league and would be a terrific head coach should he decide to pursue it, but has he been earmarked for the role with the New York Knicks? In case you missed it, Kevin Durant was named the Western Conference Player of the Month – again. It marks the fourth time in five months that KD has won the award.
