Billy Donovan brings a reputation of being an “offensive genius” and players have said that there’s already a difference in how the offense runs due to the space that seems to have been missing from previous years.

The stats seem to back this up as Donovan’s teams finished high in points per possession when he had competitive teams. From 2000 until 2009, the Gators finished no lower than 25th in points per possession, adding in three top-2 finishes.

Unfortunately, that doesn’t mean anything to me because I don’t watch college basketball. However, with the help of Twitter, I can take a specific look at what Donovan’s offense can bring to the Thunder.
