Welcome to Views from OKC, Thunderous Intentions’ daily roundup of the best OKC Thunder stories across the web.

New to Views? Glad to have you here, and I hope you’ll make this a daily destination. Well, let’s get started!

Thunder playing in their third straight primetime game

“Oklahoma City, on the other hand, has had quite the week. The Thunder knocked off the Cavs on their home floor only to get blown out in a much-hyped revenge game against the Golden State Warriors and Kevin Durant on Saturday. It’ll be interesting to see if the Thunder have moved past that emotional game or if they experience somewhat of a hangover.”

I’m really excited for this game. The first time these teams met the game went to overtime and than Russell Westbrook just took over. John Wall will be out for revenge, Otto Porter will be trying to convince Sam Presti to trade for him (hopefully), both teams heavily rely on their starters…all signs point to fireworks on the court. I’m predicting a 109-108 Thunder win. Russ either hits the game winner or he doesn’t. Obviously I say he does.

And with this the KD discussion is over

“For months, the running question for each player has been: When was the last time you two spoke with the other? And as they confirm that they haven’t spoken, the narrative becomes even icier with every matchup.”

I don’t want to talk about Kevin Durant anymore. It just makes me sad. But to formally end the discussion, lets end with an article making him look like a cupcake. Seeing the difference in both Westbrook and Durant’s game since the departure is truly humbling; you realize how courageous it was of Westbrook to sign an extension knowing how hard his situation would be.

Did I tweet this for the purpose of the article? Of course. The Thunder only play 5 playoff teams in their next 14 games. Only two of those games are on the road, and they just so happen to be the “easiest” of the five matchups. OKC is only three games back of the four seed (the Jazz), and with two games against the Jazz they could seriously find themselves with home-court advantage by mid-March.

I love hip-hop. And that is why I cannot say that this is good. Sure it’s cute, but he’s basically saying one thing. This would be much better if it was Steven Adams rapping it. Better yet lets put Kyle Singler in the spotlight. I’m sure that video would be interesting.
