Odds for which NBA team will win the 2012-13 championship have come out today courtesy of Bovada.

The Oklahoma City Thunder have the third best chance to win the title at 9/2 to start the preseason. Only the Miami Heat (11/5) and Los Angeles Lakers (5/2) were given better odds.

The Heat are understandable to have the better title odds because they just beat the Thunder in the NBA Finals this past season. Miami is in the super weak Eastern Conference as well which will make their road to the Finals much smoother than any team from the West.

The Lakers really haven’t proven anything yet after acquiring Dwight Howard and Steve Nash so it’s a little interesting that they would be considered to have better odds at winning it all than the Thunder.

The point of these odds is to get people to gamble the most money so that has to factor in somewhere as well.

After the Thunder, Heat and Lakers the Bulls come in at No. 4 with 14/1 odds followed by Boston and San Antonio each set at 18/1.

Bringing up the rear is the Charlotte Bobcats at 500/1. Cleveland, Detroit, Sacramento, Toronto and Washington are all 200/1.

Bovada also has regular season wins over/under lines with the Thunder set at 59.5. Only the Heat are higher at 61 while the Lakers are at 58.5.
