The Oklahoma City Thunder have the second-best odds to win at 5-1. The Miami Heat are favored to repeat as champions with odds at 5-2. The Chicago Bulls are third at 13-2 and the Los Angeles Lakers are 10-1.

The Thunder and the Heat will still be challenged and expected to get better if they are going to make another run at an NBA title.

The Thunder may have the easiest chance at getting better for next year. Not only should backup point Eric Maynor be healthy but they are so young in general you expect all four of their best players to keep improving.

It may be trickier for the Heat as they simply need to continue to surround LeBron James with the right pieces and not a lot of money to use.

It’s obviously early but it really does feel like the 2013 Finals will be Thunder-Heat again. The Thunder’s biggest competition in the West was all older teams on the way out while Miami’s biggest threat is Chicago and it still remains to be seen if they can compete with them.

Oh yeah, and the Charlotte Bobcats are 200-1 odds to win it all.
