Detlef Schrempf
Tenure- 1993-1999
Coming to Seattle, Detelf Schrempf was thought of as a great sixth man, winning the award twice in consecutive years with the Indiana Pacers. The SuperSonics decided to make Schrempf the full time starter, and it paid off. In the 1994-1995 season, Schrempf had career-high averages with 19.2 points, 6.2 rebounds, and shot a mesmerizing 51 percent from three-point land.
Schrempf had the most success in his career as a Sonic. Not a lot of Thunder fans will remember who Schrempf was, but he was a very respectable player that contributed to Sonic’s success for six years.
