Kevin Durant

Tenure -2007-present

Where do I begin with Kevin Durant? He is the best player to ever step foot on the court for the Thunder franchise. He has so many accolades, from rookie of the year, all rookie first team, five all NBA first team, all star MVP and a league MVP. Every year since in the league, Kevin Durant has averaged 20 or more points per game. He is a scorer, not doubt, but he is a team player. Kevin Durant wants nothing but the best for not only his teammates and coaches, but for the state of Oklahoma.

He is one of the most humble players in the entire NBA, but when he steps on the court it’s go time. His MVP speech was undoubtedly his best moment as a Thunder player. His pure unselfishness as a player and as a son made it of the most memorable speeches in sports history. Unfortunately, Durant did miss most of the season last year, due to a fracture in his foot that required multiple surgeries. It was the first time in a while that the Thunder missed the playoffs, but nevertheless, Kevin Durant will be back with a vengeance to take over the entire NBA, and reach his destined goal of an NBA Championship.
