147. Final. 106. 149. 116

There were no significant 1st quarter runs, as both teams went blow for blow. The Nets would end up taking a 30-28 lead into the 2nd quarter.

There were no truly significant 2nd quarter runs either, but the Nets were able to extend their lead to 60-52 by halftime.

It was the same story for the 3rd quarter, as the Nets maintained their lead, which was 85-77 going into the 4th.

Surprisingly, this was the first Thunder game of the season that didn’t really have any truly significant runs by either side. Unfortunately for the Thunder, that made them unable to cut into the deficit, and they were forced to endure a 116-106 loss that ended the season series in a 1-1 split, and dropped the Thunder to 33-13 overall.

Durant posted a 32-point, 10-rebound double-double to go with Westbrook’s 27-point, 11-rebound double-double. Ibaka contributed 10 points, and Cameron Payne was good for 10 from off of the Thunder bench.

Brook Lopez ended his night with a 31-point, 10-rebound double-double to go with Thaddeus Young’s 14-point, 14-rebound double-double. Joe Johnson finished with 13 points, and Donald Sloan dropped 11. Bojan Bogdanovic added 18 bench points.

The Thunder would get a night in New York to shake of the loss before taking on the Knicks. The Thunder would be looking for revenge after having to endure a 93-90 loss back on Nov. 20th, 2015. Westbrook scored 34 points in Durant’s absence.
