B. And now we have the guy who’s going to take Kanter’s minutes. Lauvergne looked like the perfect backup center for this team tonight. He’s just athletic enough to be able to switch on perimeter players, and he played solid defense on Curry and Thompson when he was forced into the situation. Lauvergne was very active on the boards, grabbing 7 on the night, including 4 offensive rebounds. His shooting range pulled Golden State’s bigs from the basket, and he even hit 1 of his 2 attempts from behind the line. Lauvergne had two steals and two assists as well. His offense isn’t nearly as good as Kanter’s but everything else about Joffrey’s game is better.. Center. OKC Thunder. JOFFREY LAUVERGNE
