OKC Thunder: The Rich List: Volume Nine, week of Mar 20-26
By Rich Condon
Meanwhile, Out West
As for the Western Conference, things are already a lot more clear. There’s still the potential for some shifting in the standings. Golden State, San Antonio, and Houston all but have the top three seeds locked up.
Things are wide open from the four seed down, however. The Jazz currently have a one game lead over the Clippers for the four seed. To wit, the Clippers have been finding new and astonishing ways to lose basketball games lately. One has to wonder what the future holds for the Clippers if they don’t make it far in the playoffs, yet again.

The OKC Thunder are two games behind the Clippers. Since the addition of Taj Gibson to the starting lineup, the Thunder have looked simply phenomenal. There aren’t really many “easy teams” for the Thunder to match up with in the first round, though. The Grizzlies sit two games behind the Thunder in the 7th seed, and the Blazers and the Nuggets are currently tied in their battle to almost assuredly lose in the first round.
Bottom line: we’re in for an interesting finish to what has been an interesting season.
Now, for the Rich List.
