Memphis Grizzlies:

Raise your hand if you thought the Grizzlies would be among the playoff contenders. Okay, I’m sitting here with my hands in my lap because I certainly didn’t see it coming.

I’ll give credit where credit is due; especially the fact Marc Gasol still has miles left in the tank I thought was depleted. No one has to convince me how great Mike Conley is, I just expected he’d be the first major trade of the season. I still think he’s the perfect pick up for San Antonio, but I’m not sure they have the trade chips to make it work.

Factors:

Offensive Rating: 18th
Defensive Rating:  6th
Net Differential: 10th
Offensive field goal efficiency: 44.6 percent
Opponent field goal efficiency:  46.5 percent
Win/Loss: Beat Nuggets and 76ers in OT, lost Warriors
Record: 7-4
