LA Clippers:

Remember when I suggested Shai Gilgeous-Alexander may well be the best point guard in the 2018 rookie class? With all due respect to Trae Young the surprising success of the Clippers has much to do with how quickly SGA is integrating into the system and the trust Doc Rivers has in his young charge.

Factor in Lou Williams absolute ownership of closing time, Montrezl Harrell‘s no quit motor, the underrated Tobias Harris and a bunch of guys who just look happy to play with each other.

For years the Clippers were the team I loved to despise. But, with the exit of Chris Paul and Blake Griffin, we aren’t being exposed to constant whining and the result is what should be your NBA League Pass guilty pleasure team.

Factors:

Offensive Rating: 7th
Defensive Rating: 11th
Net Differential: 7th
Offensive field goal efficiency:  47.2 percent
Opponent field goal efficiency:  43.1 percent
Win/Loss: Beat Wolves and Bucks in OT at home and lost Blazers on road.
Record: 7-5
Injuries:Even with all the players contributing the Clippers can still look forward to Luc Mbah a Moute and Avery Bradley returning as both have missed copious games including both from week four.
