29. . 13-14. Previous: 24th. San Antonio Spurs. 24. team

The Spurs continue to do things fans aren’t accustomed to. Beyond the fact they are fighting to capture a seed their inability to win on the road and struggles defensively top the many issues Pops (Gregg Popovich) is trying to correct.

Still, in my NBA world, I simply can’t discount this team. It’s burned me more times than I’d like to admit — so the adage “where there’s a will, there is a way” applies here.

San Antonio Spurs:

Offensive Rating: 10th
Defensive Rating: 29th
Net Differential: 24th

Points per game: 110.3 (14th)
Offensive field goal efficiency: 46.2  percent (11th)
Opponent points per game: 113.3 (24th)
Opponent field goal efficiency: 48.3 percent (28th)

Home: 9-4
Road: 4-10
Back to back sets: 5

Versus the West: 11-10
Versus the East: 2-4
Week eight 2-2: Lost @Jazz, @Lakers, beat (hosting) Jazz, Lakers
On tap for week 9: Suns, Clippers, Bulls
