OKC Thunder: TI editor power ranking week 9: The shuffle is on
Much of the improvement experienced by the Mavericks can be credited to their improved defense. In week eight they ranked 13th, week nine they had climbed to 10th.
Editor’s note:: At the time I was preparing this post the Mavericks had already moved up to 8th. While editing out of curiosity I checked again to find the Mavericks head into play on Sunday having already fallen to 13th. Guess that’s what a quick stint on the road will do to this squad — which points to their greatest issue, winning on the road.
Back to that rookie wonder boy— I mean I completely understand Memphis selecting Jaren Jackson (who is another standout), but how the other top squads failed to recognize Doncic was destined for superstardom is beyond me.
We’ll have to wait to see if Luka hits the rookie wall, but to date, he seems to be improving and getting stronger rather than regressing!
