Giannis Antetokounmpo and his Bucks proved it doesn’t matter what country they play in they still feast on the hardwood. With only two games on tap in week 14, the Bucks made short work of two sub .500 teams dismantling the Bulls stateside and the Hornets overseas in Paris.

As for the reigning MVP of the regular season, it was an odd week of stats highlights. He produced his fourth triple-double of the season versus the Bulls of 28 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists, but he also had an uncharacteristic eight turnovers. In the same contest, he reached 10,000 career points.
In Paris, Antetokounmpo led his Bucks with a double-double of 30 points and 16 rebounds. It was Milwaukee’s eighth consecutive who became the first team this season to reach 40 wins.
All-Star Game starters were confirmed this week and to no one’s surprise, Antetokounmpo made the cut. As the East’s top vote recipient he’ll captain one of the teams while LeBron James captains the other.
That should serve up some interesting playground selections especially since James will likely pick teammate Anthony Davis first. Could we get the Greek Freak and Luka Doncic as his first selection? Notably, this is Giannis’ fourth consecutive selection as a starter, a record for the Bucks.
That wraps up week 14 of the NBA Power Rankings. Where do you have the teams ranking in your listings? Let us know in the comments section.
