No. 2) Hill and Horford out again

While the OKC Thunder has shown impressive play with their young squad and with Shai leading the way, missing their veteran players in George Hill and Al Horford made a big difference.

In moments like the beginning of the fourth quarter where the opposition is dominating and it seems like there’s no way to stop it, it’s guys like this that can talk to the team in a timeout to help turn things around.

Against the Miami Heat, the Thunder didn’t have that. We won’t be able to determine if this would’ve changed the result but it’s definitely something to consider.

You only have to look at last year’s Thunder roster who had Chris Paul. His mentorship was legendary and something that people will be talking about for many years to come.

Playing a back to back is also something to take into account and OKC will get a couple of days to rest to get back on track.
