The frontcourt was like the three bears – Montrezl Harrell was too small, Andre Drummond was too much (and not in a good way) and Marc Gasol was not enough.
In spite of those frontcourt issues, the bigger issue is playmaking and shooting with each of Dennis Schroder, Alex Caruso, and Wes Matthews entering free agency.
Butler is a quality shooting and defender and only slips because of injury questions. At 22 he’s a steal.
