Payback is so much fun isn’t it? After getting demolished in their first matchup, the OKC Thunder came back to beat the Memphis Grizzlies 103-95 in the Peake.

Life is so much better when the Thunder win. And play well in those wins.

The score may not indicate it but Wednesday night’s game against the Grizzlies was one of the more impressive games in the first 40 of the season. Memphis is an incredibly solid team, yet Oklahoma City never made it seem like the game was close.

By the end of the first quarter they were up by 6. At the end of the first half that lead was 11. From there it was just a matter of eliminating any Grizzlies runs, and that’s exactly what Russell Westbrook and Co. did.

Westbrook didn’t have a great shooting night (6-19 from the field, 0-7 from three) tonight, but that didn’t stop the Thunder from dropping 103 points on one of the best defenses in the league. They spread the ball, got out in fastbreak; the perfect recipe for this Thunder team.
