We all know that if Russell Westbrook records a triple-double, the OKC Thunder usually win. Today I take a look at other numbers from some of the Thunder’s most important pieces.

The OKC Thunder are Russell Westbrook‘s team, there is no denying this. His triple-double numbers are nothing short of amazing. Westbrook has said all year he does not care about how many triple-doubles he collects. He cares about wins. Of the 32 triple-doubles, 26 have ended with a Thunder victory.

What I want to look at today is the significant supporting cast of Russell Westbrook. I keep hearing the OKC Thunder are not talented enough, and they will only go as far as Russell Westbrook can take them.

This is true to a point. As I have always said to anyone who will listen, there are five players on a basketball court at any one time for each team. No one man can beat five. Look at what happened for the Houston Rockets now James Harden has finally figured it out.

Today I am going to look into the stats of four starters and two reserves to highlight the importance of the team, especially alongside the splendid numbers of Westbrook.
