Today’s offerings looks at OKC Thunder center Enes Kanter’s 25h Birthday ordeal, a celebration of his 25 years via  look back at his best moments in the NBA and camp time for young gans.

Kanter Ordeal;

All’s well that ends well. Enes Kanter began his day under less than ideal circumstances. Although it was the young OKC Thunder center’s 25th birthday the day kicked off with drama not celebration. Thunderous Intentions provided the details on his drama here. Consequently, Kanter was able to resolve the issues and fly to London, England. So, Kanter will arrive back in the United States on Sunday.

His Twitter feed indicates more news will be forthcoming once he lands in New York.  Needless to say having his passport seized and watched by police at the Romanian airport could have turned out poorly. Especially, since a return to Turkey would have likely meant jail time. NBA.com provided this update:

"Oklahoma City Thunder center Enes Kanter is returning to the United States after being detained in a Romanian airport. Romanian Border Police spokesman Fabian Badila confirmed to The Associated Press that the player left Romania for the United States via London.Kanter, who is from Turkey, got an assist from NBA officials in clearing up passport problems, according to the New York Times."

Video Birthday Card:

Fortunately Kanter was able to leave Romania and carry on with his day. As a nod to Kanter’s birthday TI recalled the centers top 25 career moments. Check out our video Birthday card to the star.

"This last 10  compilation represented the very vest of Enes Kanter. In hindsight fans will forever be left to wonder whether the Thunder could have climbed higher up the ladder had he not been hurt.Regardless, it’s clear he loves playing in OKC with his favorite player Russell Westbrook and his buddy Steven Adams."

Camp Time:

With the end of the regular season and summer around the corner, therefore youth basketball camps are in full effect. Hence, Michelle Matthews provides a Q and A on the program:

"Under Matthews’ leadership, Thunder Youth Basketball, presented by Cox Communications, surged forward with its campaign, culminating on a filled-to-capacity Winter Camp session, and never looked back.There are eight camps in Oklahoma, with the one being in Kansas City: Generating tons of momentum to start the spring and revving up for a big summer of nine camps, which includes eight across Oklahoma and an out-of-state rendezvous in Kansas City, the program set out to reach new heights."
