The rundown
Dieng was memorable in college thanks to Louisville’s run to a national championship this past season. He averaged 9.8 points, 9.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.5 blocks per game last year. He was an impressive passer from the high post and protector of the rim.
How the Thunder can get him?
The Thunder will likely be able to get Dieng at No. 12 if they want to. Even by trading back, the Thunder may be able to still draft him.
How he will fit in with the Thunder?
Dieng could very well evolve into a future starting center in the NBA and for the Thunder. He is still somewhat raw in certain areas and will have to adjust to the pace of the NBA game.
