The rundown
Carter-Williams was one of the top freshmen in the country this past season with the Syracuse Orange. He averaged 11.9 points, 7.3 assists and 4.9 rebounds per game. He has great length for a point guard and also averaged 2.8 steals per game as he was a very active defender.
How the Thunder can get him?
The Thunder will more than likely have to trade up a few spots for a chance to get him. If he somehow falls all the way to No. 12, the Thunder might view him as the most talented player on the board and draft him despite point guard not being their greatest immediate need.
How he will fit in with the Thunder?
He is a true point guard who will fit in well with the Thunder athletically. He should have no problem fitting in with the players that make up the current rotation in OKC. He needs to improve his outside shooting though but if he does, could blossom into a future All-Star.
NBA comparison
I think we all agree that he is a lot like Shaun Livingston.
