Schedule: vs. Dallas Mavericks (Feb. 19); at Charlotte Hornets (Feb. 21)

After eight days off for the All-Star break, the hope is Durant will have some time to heal his injuries. The eight days off will give them some extra practice time to build chemistry, and who knows, Reggie Jackson may be gone by this point.

Dallas will provide a tough test for the Thunder right out of the gate. But, they have struggled against good Western conference teams, going just 5-13 against the top 10 in the conference. The first time the Thunder and Mavericks played, Durant was absent and Oklahoma City lost on the road. This time, a well rested Thunder team will be too much to handle at home.

The Charlotte Hornets have been playing good basketball lately, winning 10 of their last twelve games. But without Kemba Walker, the Hornets will not have enough offensive fire power to beat the Thunder.

Prediction: 2-0
