2. Arron Afflalo

Nuggets trade: Arron Afflalo and Alonzo Gee
Thunder trade: Kendrick Perkins and Reggie Jackson

This could be the best possible trade the Thunder could make. Getting a two-way shooting guard like Arron Afflalo is the one thing the team needs in their starting line-up. This trade is almost the same as the Chandler one but Afflalo is an upgrade.

As I wrote before, the Nuggets could be quiet sellers this year and Afflalo and his two-year deal could be one of the most convenient contracts to move in a trade.

OKC would be able to dump Perkins’ salary while also trading Jackson, who they will probably lose in the off-season, for a versatile two-way guard. This trade works well for both teams, especially if Denver wants to clear cap space for next year.

Alonzo Gee may or may not be just a throw in player with this trade depending on how the Thunder might use him. He has athletic upside but they don’t have a need at the small forward position.
