8. Rookie of the Year
Though this technically didn’t take place while in OKC it still has to make the list. It was no surprise that Kevin Durant was one of the most dominant players during his rookie season. What was surprising was the numbers that he put up during this time. In his first year, he went out and proved he belonged in the league immediately. Just look at these rookie numbers:

He went out with the mindset of a veteran, and because of this he locked up the Rookie of the Year award with ease, beating runner-up Al Jefferson by sixty first-place votes. This was just the first of many awards and honors to come Durant’s way.
