Thanks, But No Thanks
Vinny Del Negro
Laugh all you want, but Del Negro has the best agent in the business. Del Negro has been rumored to interview for every job opening since his time as the Clippers’ man in charge ended. He’s a former player with more connections than a motherboard, but his past experience won’t pass the test of Presti.
More from Thunderous Intentions
- Stealing one player from every Southwest Division team for the OKC Thunder
- Should the OKC Thunder chase after a disgruntled hometown hero?
- 3 OKC Thunder players who can step up in Aleksej Pokusevski’s absence
- Aleksej Pokusevski sidelined approximately 6 weeks with ankle injury
- Damian Lillard does not fit with the OKC Thunder
Mark Jackson
If this happened, I might consider rooting for another team. Jackson is great at getting players to like him, but I’m relatively certain his basketball knowledge doesn’t extend past the rudimentary coach speak such as “We need to want it more!” or “Dig deep and give 110 percent!”. Needless to say, Presti doesn’t want to risk my fandom for Mark freakin’ Jackson.
