I need to start off by thanking my wife.

This isn’t some boring acceptance speech or a post-game interview, but Oklahoma City not participating in the playoffs is something I’m not used to. As one Spurs’ blogger put it:

Needless to say, I’ve had a hard time finding something to write about, but fortunately for me, my wife is much smarter than I am.

This post isn’t intended to be a post on what a terrible coach Scott Brooks is; I’ve stated several times that Brooks was the perfect coach that Oklahoma City needed at the time of his hiring, but he has probably served his purpose.

What I want this post to focus on is what Billy Donovan needs to bring to the team that has lacked over the past few seasons with a brief look at how Donovan has utilized these skills in Florida.
