Maintain Development
This isn’t a topic that needs improve upon, but one that just needs to be maintained. No team has developed more talent than the Thunder over the past few years. Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and Serge Ibaka are all top players at their respective positions, but Steven Adams, Mitch McGary and Andre Roberson are all young players that seem to be a large part of the Thunder’s future.
The development was some combination of fantastic drafting by the Thunder front office and excellent developing by the coaching staff, Brooks included. But Donovan also has a good track record of players coming to and developing under him at Florida. Bradley Beal, Al Horford, Mike Miller, Joakim Noah and Chandler Parsons are all players that developed under Donovan and are now having success at the next level.
