With less than 10 seconds left until the Thunder would force Game 7 against San Antonio, Durant was dribbling up the floor, readying himself for a potential drive…when he slipped and the Spurs picked up the ball. There didn’t seem to be any reason for KD’s tumble, but he could be seen yelling at the towel boys after this play.
If someone with a rag had wiped that spot off, it’s highly likely (or at least even possible) the Thunder would’ve taken down San Antonio in Game 7 and been able to take advantage of a weakened Miami Heat team in the Finals and received their first ring. But again, what if…
