OKC Thunder: Biggest “What If?” Moments in Team History
By JM VanSant
1. LeBron Fouls Kevin Durant in Game 2 of the NBA Finals
There’s no situation where someone commits the same action on LeBron James and does not receive a foul on the play. Some say there was minimal contact, but LeBron can be seen clearly swiping the entire body of KD on his way up for a shot and it simply didn’t make sense that it wasn’t called considering the referee was standing less than three feet. The Thunder had come back down from eight points against Miami in the fourth quarter, and with a 1-0 lead in the series, it’s pretty safe to say a second victory at a home could have clinched OKC’s first ever championship. Maybe next time blow your whistle ref.
