Kevin Durant’s Top Plays of the 2014-2015 Season
By JM VanSant
1. 30 Points in the First Half
This game started off magically, with Durant manhandling the best team in the league on their own floor, giving the fans a taste of what the rest of his season was going to look like. But after hitting some miraculous shots en route to a 30 point first half, giving many the hope that they might witness a 60-point performance, KD suffered a severe ankle sprain on his left foot. He was sidelined for six games, then only played in a few more before sitting out for the rest of the season after undergoing yet another surgery to address the fracture in his other foot. Durant’s first half performance looked to be historic, and was a shining moment in the gloomy season that was the Oklahoma City Thunder’s.
