LAST SEASON’S RECORD VS. OPPONENT: 1-1
Many people look at the Eastern Conference see the Cleveland Cavaliers and 14 other teams competing for second place. The Cavs, who provided quite a challenge in last season’s NBA Finals, are likely to be the best team in the East barring injury. They’ve brought back nearly their full roster from last year, even adding some other key veteran players along the way.
And they’ve still got LeBron James, last time we checked.
With superstar teammates Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving on the sidelines, this team was still a very strong contender during the postseason. At full strength, they could be a dangerous opponent for every team in the league. Still, it’ll be an interesting test against a legitimate title contender with numerous individual battles worth watching. And the chance to see two of the greatest players of this era and perhaps all-time battle each other?
Why wouldn’t you watch this?
