Tenure- 2007-2011

Jeff Green was a nice small forward, who was drafted by the Boston Celtics in the 2007 NBA Draft. He was quickly traded to the Seattle SuperSonics and thrived. In his rookie year, Green averaged 10.5 points per game, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.5 assists. There was a lot of promise around the young forward from Georgetown. During his second year in the league, the SuperSonics relocated and became the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Green’s second year in the league was arguably his best, averaging 16.5 points per game, 6.7 rebounds, and 2.0 assists. With the emergence of Kevin Durant and Serge Ibaka, the Thunder traded Jeff Green before the 2011 trade deadline for Kendrick Perkins. Green will certainly never have his number retired, but, Oklahoma City fans will remember his talent and potential for a long time to come.
